About Us
December of 1932 forty-one charter members formed an English-speaking Lutheran Church in Long Lake. Originally, worship took place in the Odd Fellows Hall above the Nielson Hardware Store on South Brown Road. The present site was purchased in 1952, when the lower level of the present facility was built. Over the years, the structure changed as additions were built and remodeling occurred. With the completion of the Great Hall wing and several new classrooms in 2007, the church is better equipped to serve the ever-growing membership and ministry needs of the congregation. At this point in Trinity’s history, we are thankful our church includes:
- Devoted pastors who work hard to help us know God
- Willing listeners who take time to understand and counsel others
- Dedicated music directors for singers and instrumentalists of all ages
- Teachers with passion for our children and youth
- Compassionate volunteers who attend to the needs of our local and global communities
- Dependable assistants who usher, read Scripture lessons, serve communion and offer hospitality in a variety of ways
- Conscientious staff, committee and council members who help guide our future
- Grateful givers who share both talents and treasures
