Children's Activities at Trinity
Mission Statement
The purpose of Trinity's Children, Youth and Family Ministry is to partner with families to Follow Jesus, Grow in Faith, and Share God's Love.
In baptism, God claims us as part of his family. As a family of Trinity, we want to support you and walk along side you and your family as you grow in faith, hope and service to the God's will. Through Trinity Kids, Special Events, Faith Stepping Stones, family and seasonal events, summer programs, service and outreach opportunities, we hope to provide you with the tools you need to carry out the promises you made at your child's baptism.

Trinity Kids
A Sunday morning program for children age 2-Grade 5 offered during both worship services (9:00 & 10:30 am) from September through May. We are blessed with wonderful and dedicated teachers, helpers and workshop leaders. During the year, each grade level will spend time related to learning about their Faith Stepping Stone. They share these "faith steps" and what they have learned during worship. Download the Registration Form and Parent Volunteer Form here.
Preschool
Children will enjoy learning the Bible stories that
engages the use of all of their senses and learning styles. Each week,
part of their hour includes music time.
Kindergarten-Grade 4
Children learn through our Workshop
Rotation Model. This is a "new" way of doing Sunday school where
children move to a new classroom each week to visit a series of theme
based workshops (such as art, science, cooking, theatre, music and
games).
Grade 5
Children are using an all new curriculum this year
called "Grapple". These preteens will dig into the Bible stories
"grappling" with real life, relevant issues in their lives today that
relate to the story.
Birth-Age 5 Ministry
Childcare
Childcare is available for children birth-age 3 on Sunday
mornings during worship services and for special events. Andrea Miner,
our nursery coordinator, staffs the nursery along with volunteers to
provide a safe, nurturing environment for children.
Baptism Class
If you are considering Holy Baptism for your child or yourself or if you know someone who is, we are excited to
invite you to a Baptism class. Baptism classes are held on the 2nd
Sunday of each month at 11:45 am. We meet by the font. Please call the church or email Cindy Pearson
to schedule your class date.
Stay and Play Times
For moms, dads and young children! Looking for a safe place for your
little ones to burn off some energy? If so, come to Stay and Play on the
1st and 3rd Wednesdays (March-May) from 9-11 am in the Great Hall. It will
be an informal gym time for little ones while parents stay and visit.
(Dates: March 5, 19; April 2, 16; May 7, 19)
SPLASH!
Faith Formation newsletters mailed monthly to parents
with age appropriate information related to the faith formation of your
child as well as the daily growth of your child.
Meet & Mingle
Three gatherings a year to provide families with
children birth-age 5 a chance to connect, encourage and celebrate the
parenthood journey. (Dates: TBD - Fall 2008)
Home Visit
A member from the Birth-Age5 ministry team makes a home visit to families with a newborn to provide a warm meal,
some resources, and to connect with your family.
Service and Outreach
Serving and "reaching out to the needs of others" is how we can "Share God's Love" to others. Throughout the year, children in Trinity Kids support two children through Compassion International. In addition to supporting them through their weekly offering, we support various local organizations throughout the year through our offering and service projects.

It will oozing with fun at Power Lab where kids will discover Jesus' miraculous power. Friends and neighbors welcome.
