6th & 7th Grade Confirmation

Confirmation for grades 6 & 7 is on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 pm. Click here for the current schedule! We also have SLICE (optional supper) before Confirmation on Content Nights only. Make sure to RSVP to the SLICE Hotline by 3 pm the day you plan to attend (952-476-0112 x122). 8th Grade Confirmation

8th grade Confirmation at Trinity has a brand new look and feel this year! The 8th grade youth now have their own separate program based on the 10 Commandments and life application. We also hope you’ll attend SLICE on your Content Nights! Click here for the current schedule. We meet most Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity.

Confirmation Mentoring

Each Confirmation youth meets one-on-one with their chosen Mentor throughout each year of Confirmation (grades 6-8). We provide 6 Mentor Sunday’s which are optional for Mentor Groups but are provided for those that want more structure/schedule. The 6 Mentor Sunday dates are: November 18th, December 16th, January 20th, February 17th, March 16th, and April 20th. We meet at 11:45 in the Sanctuary and then conclude with lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Please RSVP to Sarah Hrusovsky (Confirmation Coordinator) if you plan to attend!

Minneapolis Mission Trip - June 15 - 21, 2008; Minneapolis, MN

This summer we will be trying something new- one of our mission trips will be local! We feel this is a good option for several reasons- it allows youth to see the need in their own "back yard", is good for those that are doing a mission trip for the first time, it provides opportunity for continued relationships/service, it will be less expensive, etc. Click here to see the Minneapolis FAQ or to download the registration forms (Registration Form 1 and Registration Form 2. Jay Gamelin from Ohio State University speaking at Trinity- don't miss it!

Jay Gamelin is a pastor and missionary to the campus of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His community there, Jacob’s Porch, is a gathering place of worship for college students from many different backgrounds. Jay has a great gift for communicating the gospel with students of all ages, and will be here on Wednesday, April 9 to speak at the Family Matters Event (from 6:30-8 pm) and then at our Dynamite worship service for TNT (8-9 pm).

Faithful Parenting: Building Strong Families

Have you ever wondered how to make the Sunday-Monday connection at home? Marilyn Sharpe, Director of Christian Parenting and Intergenerational Ministries at the Youth & Family Institute, believes that families are the classroom for teaching all that is most important to our children. She will provide ways that we can help to build strong families through faithful parenting.
