At Trinity Lutheran we welcome children of all ages as important members of the body of Christ. Trinity wants to partner with parents to connect kids to God’s bigger story. Children’s Ministry supports the family in helping nurture Christian values and faith. We want you and your children to know that God loves you and you belong here. We want our youngest children to know that they are loved and cared for by Jesus and give them opportunities to learn about God through Bible stories, activities at Trinity Kids, faith milestones, and special events.

Family Worship is scheduled monthly in place of Trinity Kids giving families the opportunity to worship together. For kids in worship we have busy bags, and a family friendly Pray-Ground in the front of the sanctuary, and a nursery. Trinity encourages kids and families to serve together at family worship through reading scripture, greeting, or ushering. Our hope is that kids at Trinity feel a part of a community of believers to be built up and strengthened in faith and love. Contact Julie to learn more!

Trinity Lutheran offers a wonderful opportunity for Children in Grades K-5 to participate in a weekly choir ensemble, which sings in worship once each month and several other special occasions. These groups rehearse Wednesdays 4-5pm with students able to take the bus from Orono Public Schools to the church. The singers share snack-time, then gather in rehearsal to explore their voices, make music, meet new friends, and share the gift of praise. Joyful Noise in made-up of K-2nd Grade singers, and Youth Choir is 3rd-5th Grade. Registration links can be found on the website or through Trinity Kids registration.

A fun ministry for 4th and 5th grade kids to grow in faith and relationship with one another. We will meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month beginning September 13th from 5:15-6pm in the youth room. Some of the things we will do at Club45 are devotionals, games, crafts/activities, a Bible lesson and connecting with friends.

We are changing up the way we do First Communion, instead of a 4th grade specific milestone we invite parents to decide when their child is ready for their First Communion.
The nursery welcomes children up to age 3 at all Sunday worship services, some Wednesday evenings during Lent and some special events. Our nursery is staffed by loving volunteers who strive to provide a healthy, safe environment for children.
Registration opens March 1st for Scuba VBS. We will be diving into friendship with God under the sea.
We have a great opportunity for families to go to Bible camp as well as 1st-8th grade summer camp programs for kids/youth. Trinity partners with Camp Wapo in Amery Wisconsin to offer kids and families a variety of summer camp experiences. Registrations open mid-January and spaces are held for Trinity until mid-February. Contact Julie Vagle with questions.
Seeds Summer Camp (1st-3rd Grades) is the perfect introduction to camp for the youngest campers. The weekend is filled with fun and meaningful opportunities to learn and grow while having fun.
Wapo week (4th-8th Grades) is a week of camp fun where kids participate in a bunch of fun activities including beach time, field games, campfires, cabin time, chapel, Bible studies, canteen, free time, Gaga, capture the flag, and more. Campers will experience a place of love and grace to meet new friends, try new activities, grow closer to God, and make great memories.
Family Camp is an opportunity for all ages and families of all shapes and sizes to go to camp for the weekend with their church friends. At family camp we play games together, tie dye, have evening campfires, play at the beach, have family Bible study activities, worship at the beach together Sunday morning and so much more! It’s fun for all ages from the littles to the teens and even the adults.
